- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
What is Casemaker Libra?
Casemaker Libra is an online searchable library of treatises, practice guides,
and continuing legal education materials linked to the Casemaker database. You
may subscribe to an individual book, to a practice area library, or to the
entire library. Subscriptions are for one year, and you will have access to any
supplements or new publications added during that year to a practice area
library or all-library subscription. Typical links into the Casemaker system
include case law, statutes, acts, and administrative codes. You may browse or
search individual books or search by practice area library or full library,
depending on your subscriptions.
Can more than one person participate?
Subscriptions are at the individual level. Please see End User License Agreement applicable to your subscription.
To whom do I direct questions of a technical nature?
For technical support, please call 1-844-838-0790.
While searching or browsing, the system asked me to subscribe even after I
had purchased a subscription – why is that?
Your subscription to the book or practice area library may have expired. You can
log in and check expiration dates on the “My Account” page.
Can I print the book I have subscribed to?
You can print only one chapter at a time.
How do I access the books after a successful subscription purchase?
Upon registration, you should receive a confirmation email with full
instructions. If you do not have this email a book can be accessed as follows:
1. Log in with email and password
to the Casemaker Libra website.
2. Under “My Account” the books you
have subscribed to will be displayed.
3. Click on “View Online” next to
your purchased title.
How do I pay?
You pay online using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) via the Casemaker secure ecommerce server.
